REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND INFORMATION

December 29, 2008 is the ultimate deadline date for the completion of the online-registration and payment of the registration fee.

Early registration, at reduced fee, closes on December 15.

All presenters and attendees must register online.

The registration fee includes access to the event location, presentations, a copy of the proceedings, lunches, and coffee and tea during the breaks, and a reception on Wednesday, January 7.

There will also be an excursion Thursday, January 8, second part of the afternoon, followed by a banquet. The excursion and banquet together will be at a cost of 25 euros. Payment will be in cash upon arrival, or in advance as an add-on to the conference registration fee, in which case it will be at the cost of 30 euros (in view of the overhead charged on payments to the university's bank account).

Check-in for IWCS-8 will start at 08:30 on Wednesday, January 5.

Participants in the ISA-4 Interoperable Semantic Annotation workshop, on January 5-6, are requested to register using this form and use the options at the bottom of the page.
Check-in will be possible from 09:00 until 14:00 on Monday, January 5.

PARTICIPATION IN ISA-4 WORKSHOP OR ISO MEETINGS

ISA-4: 4th Joint ISO-ACL/SIGSEM Workshop on Interoperable Semantic Annotation: Participants for the ISA-4 workshop who do not stay for IWCS-8, please register by filling out the above part of the form for personal details, and choose the appropriate options below. I will participate in the ISOcat tutorial/workshop on January 7-8

The registration fee for the workshop is 40 euros.

Participants in other ISO activities that take place on 5,6, 7, and 8 January, including ISO TC 37/SC 4 working group meetings and meetings related to the
ISOcat Data Category Registry, please also complete the above part of the form for personal details and make the appropriate choices in the boxes below.

Participation in these ISO activities will be free of charge.

PAYMENT

For IWCS-8 the following registration fees apply:

• Early registration (before December 15): 275 euros
  
• Late registration (after December 15): 300 euros
  
• Students, early registration (before December 15): 125 euros
  
• Students, late registration (after December 15): 150 euros
  

Participation in the excursion and conference banquet: 25 euros if payed in cash upon arrival; 30 euros if payed in advance in combination with the conference fee.

For ISA-4 the registration fee is 40 euros.

Participation in other ISO activities is free of charge. Participants in these activities are welcome at the IWCS-8 reception on Wednesday, January 7, and can participate in the IWCS-8 excursion and banquet by indicating this choice on the form and paying 25 euros in cash upon arrival.
